Lauren Mooney is the program manager and research associate for the Human Rights Initiative. Previously, she was the program coordinator for Executive Education and the Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy at CSIS, where she provided support for the planning and implementation of leadership training and executive education. Prior to joining CSIS, Ms. Mooney worked as executive program assistant at PartnersGlobal, an international development nonprofit that provides capacity building and training across the globe. In that role, she spearheaded the organization’s communications and operations and provided executive-level support to the president. As an undergraduate, she interned for Meridian International Center and Atlas Corps, worked at the University of Dayton’s Intensive English Program, and studied abroad for a semester in Lima, Peru. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in international studies and a minor in Spanish.
