Frank Reyes

Military Fellow, International Security Program

Lieutenant Colonel Frank Reyes is a military fellow from the U.S. Air Force focusing on nuclear security issues in the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He previously served as the executive officer to the Director of Security Forces, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. Lieutenant Colonel Reyes has extensive experience in nuclear security and integrated base defense. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of operational and staff assignments, including as a field artillery officer, security forces squadron commander, and air staff action officer. Lieutenant Colonel Reyes was commissioned through the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in history. In 2002 he branched transferred from the Army to the Air Force. He also holds a Master’s degree in security management from American Military University and is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College.
