Aman Thakker

Research Associate, Wadhwani Chair in U.S. – India Policy Studies

Aman Thakker is a research associate at the Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His current research focuses on national and state-level reforms in India, evolving security dynamics in the Indo-Pacific, and U.S.-India economic, security, and strategic ties. Prior to joining CSIS, he worked as a strategy consultant at Protagonist (formerly Monitor 360), where he helped leading non-profit foundations develop strategies for engagement with policymakers and relevant stakeholders on topics such as financial inclusion, climate change, educational policy, and the impact of technology on society. He received his B.A. (with high honors) in international affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University and spent one year studying at the London School of Economics.
